We understand that you are the sole owners of the information collected on any of our websites. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email, fax, data integration, assignment screens or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone. It will be used expressly for the purpose intended and no other.
We will use the information you provide to respond to your assignment strictly regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g., to provide a vehicle damage appraisal, obtain vehicle damage photos, create a review of provided materials, etc.
Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via telephone or email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

In order to use our DASHboard adjuster portal website or have an assignment processed on your behalf, a user account must first be created by our system. During registration process, which most likely will be handled automatically by our FNOL team, an account will be created including certain information (such as company name, your full name, work telephone + extension and your work email address). This information is used to contact you about the products/services in which you have requested we process.
Before completion of an assignment can begin we might request certain information from you in order to invoice the requested task. Unless an agreement is already in place, we will ask for billing and payment information. This information will be used for billing purposes strictly related to the tasks you request. If we have trouble processing a payment, we'll use this information to contact you and/or the billing department to resolve the issue.
We partner with other insurance service providers to provide specific services requested. When SCA brings new service providers into our ‘network’ we perform a basic background check on the principle and collect their corporate TaxID number. As these are independent business owners with at least 3 years’ experience in the requested. As part of completing your assignment request we will share names, vehicle information or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services. These parties are instructed and strictly prohibited to use the personally identifiable information provided to them except for the purpose of providing the services requested.
We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via any method, your information is protected both online and offline.
Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as vehicle owner name, address and phone number), that information is encrypted within our database and transmitted to our service providers in a secure way. If using our DASHboard website you can verify sending us data is secure by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of our DASHboard adjuster web portal page.
While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only SCA employees and verified appraisal vendors with an established business history who need the information to perform a specific job (e.g. desk review, vehicle appraisal, heavy equipment ACV) are granted access to your work contact details and a vehicle owners’ personally identifiable information. The computers/servers on which we store these sets of personally identifiable information are kept in a secure data center environment which is SOC II compliant.
From time-to-time our company might generate an Adjuster Experience survey to those who’ve sent us an assignment. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and you may choose whether or not to participate and therefore disclose this information. Information requested will be anonymous but may include an NPS (Net Promoter Score) rating and your feeling about our service levels. All information collected for the survey will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of our offerings.
This Privacy Policy is effective as of January 1, 2020 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on the homepage of our website.
We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the SCA Claim Services after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy.
